The growth of the Motion Control market has increased, due to the use of high-level automatic equipment, machine tools, high-level medical equipment, sensors, and many others. In recent years, the equipment industry has begun to emerge from the traditional big industries and do depth development for motion control application segments. Motion Control is a sub-field of automation, in which the position or velocity of machines is controlled using some type of device such as a hydraulic pump, linear actuator, or electric motor, generally a servo.
Current industrial motion control options are a mix of electronic and mechanical components. Examples of the use of motion control are applications requiring the positioning of a product, synchronization of separate elements, or the rapid start and stop of motion. Boly provides precise metal components for motion control which apply to motion controllers, actuators/motors, sensors, and drives/amplifiers.
The Motion Control industry demands products that meet exact specifications and the highest standards for reliability and quality. Through a combination of technology and in-house engineering and manufacturing expertise, we are able to design, manufacture, and deliver the highest quality products and sub-assemblies in the industry. Our ISO 9001:2015 quality systems and extensive knowledge of materials source requirements make Boly fully compatible with Motion Control industry expectations. We are well-versed in the manufacturing of many types of motion control components.

Stainless Steel and Specialty SteelÂ
Stainless steel alloys have found increasing usage in Motors and High-Level automatic equipment that require great strength under rapid movement. The high corrosion and temperature resistance found in stainless steel make it suitable for a range of shafts used on Motion Control machinery.

Nickel and High Temperature Alloys
Nickel steel alloys are extremely popular for Motors and Actuators. It is designed for critical applications where ultra-high pure conditions are required. This demand is due to its increased hardness, tensile strength, and elastic limit, all without reduced ductility. It also maintains strength at elevated temperatures as high as 1,050˚C to 1,200˚C. The nickel-based super alloys Inconel and Hastelloy are also used extensively.
